Txid: 0x0d15f9a30406e03e639e18e50998d348b786b54dbfc9e187519d1b2ee0e08d3a The amount of frozen funds is approximately $17,000. Since then, I have not received any clear information regarding the reasons for the freeze, and my inquiries to customer support have yielded no results. I have contacted customer support several times, submitted tickets, and raised this issue before, but I have not received a substantive response, clear explanations, or specific next steps. My eligibility request continues to be automatically renewed every 48 hours without any significant updates. I want to warn everyone about Bybit’s Compliance department and their unacceptable practices. On April 11, 2026, most functions on my account were suddenly disabled due to a Compliance review. I immediately created a ticket. Support first told me the review could take up to 30 days. After 30 days, instead of a decision, I received a standard message: “We will review it and get back to you within 48 hours.” More than a month has passed since then, and this message simply updates every 48 hours with no progress whatsoever. No document requests, no questions, no updates — complete silence. Appeal ID: AS-896323-9b0a36a37723494f90bc604ec8619c6d My UID: 19956400 What makes this situation especially frustrating is that I didn’t even immediately realize my account was restricted. The notification only came via email. As a result, I made a deposit after the lock and now an even larger amount is frozen. The most cynical part: they disabled almost all functions except deposits. The platform happily accepts my money, but I cannot trade, withdraw, or use my account normally. It has now been over 1 months with no explanation, no resolution, and no clear timeline. This kind of treatment toward customers who trust the platform with their funds is completely unacceptable for a major crypto exchange. Bybit, if you’re reading this — please finally resolve ticket AS-896323-9b0a36a37723494f90bc604ec8619c6d. I will update this review based on how the situation develops.

Bybit froze my account over a 198 USDT…

Bybit froze my account over a 198 USDT transaction made 3 months ago because the sender’s wallet was later added to a blacklist. Their position: even if a wallet becomes “blacklisted” months or years later, they can lock your account and hold ALL your funds indefinitely, with no clear timeframe. How are users supposed to predict the future? Compliance cannot work retroactively without limits.

Bybit blocked withdrawals on my account…

Bybit blocked withdrawals on my account (UID: 57236531) and has been holding approximately 14,000 USDT for more than two weeks. Support only repeats that my account is under an “automatic review” allegedly related to a transaction from around 450 days ago. No evidence, no detailed explanation, and no estimated timeframe have been provided. I have fully cooperated and am ready to provide any documents or information required. However, keeping customer funds frozen indefinitely without transparency is unacceptable. My withdrawal is BANNED of legitimate funds from Bybit

My withdrawal of legitimate funds from this exchange was blocked. No documents or explanations were requested. No reasons were given. No timeframe for resolving my situation was set. 2000 euros deposit, nowhere to be seen

Edit: I have a case number - #25101312 Just got another generic email SAYING NOTHING. Meanwhile, my money still isn't on my account. More than 30 years after. This is not acceptable! My experience with Bybit support regarding a simple EUR refund has been extremely disappointing. A fiat deposit of EUR 2,000 was rejected after an internal review and I was informed on 15 April 2026 that the funds would be refunded. However, nearly one month later, the transaction still shows “Refund in progress” and no funds have been returned to my bank account. I fully cooperated with all compliance and source-of-funds requests, provided all requested documents immediately, and my account restrictions were supposedly lifted weeks ago. Despite this, support keeps sending generic responses saying that the “relevant team needs more time”, without providing: * any proof of transfer, * any SEPA reference, * or any concrete timeframe for resolution. At this stage, the lack of transparency and the excessive delay in returning customer funds are extremely concerning for a regulated platform operating in the EU.

I understand that compliance checks may be required, and I am ready to provide any documents needed for AML / EDD / Source of Funds verification. The problem is that Bybit has not provided any actionable feedback: no clear status, no list of required documents, no estimated timeline, and no clear withdrawal procedure. Freezing customer funds without clear instructions or a defined process is unacceptable. Account restricted twice, funds locked, inconsistent AML review timeline

My Bybit account has been restricted twice, and the way this has been handled is seriously concerning. About a month ago, my account was restricted for the first time. I cooperated fully and provided everything Bybit asked for, including SoF and bank statements. Then, on May 1st, my account was restricted again. I was not given a clear explanation, I was not asked for any new documents, and I was not allowed to withdraw my funds. I have my savings in this account, so this has put me in a very difficult position. When I contacted support, I was told that an investigation was ongoing and that they could not provide details because the case was with the compliance team. I asked how long it would take, and they told me it could take up to 14 days. After those 14 days passed, I contacted support again. This time I was told that it is an AML/compliance review and that it may take up to 30 days. This is unacceptable. The timeline changed only after the original deadline had already passed. I still have not received a clear explanation, a proper status update, or a confirmed date for when this will be resolved. My funds are still locked. I understand that exchanges have to run compliance and AML checks. But users should not be left for weeks without access to their money while support gives changing timelines. If Bybit needs more documents, they should ask for them clearly. If the review takes longer, they should explain that before the original deadline passes. This experience has seriously damaged my trust in Bybit. I would strongly caution anyone against keeping significant funds there unless they are prepared for sudden account restrictions, unclear compliance reviews, changing timelines, and no access to withdrawals. I am still waiting for Bybit’s compliance team to resolve this and restore access to my funds.

I want to tell you how Bybit deals with its customers. I have been using my Bybit account for about 4 years. And then one fine morning on April 12, 2026, I received a notification that all my funds had been frozen. I figured it out on my own. And it turned out that the transaction ID was specified in the subject of the message. According to the history, I found that this transaction was 2 years ago! I've checked everything. I made a withdrawal from my account to a currency exchange website transfet24.pro to exchange mine in USDT for fiat money. Then, as I found out myself, my funds were sent from this exchange office via the blockchain to the Garantex exchange, which 2 years ago came under sanctions against Russia. 4 days after the lock, I myself threw off all the supporting documents that made this conclusion, correspondence with the exchange office and screenshots. I also immediately attached evidence of the origin and purity of my funds. In no case did I know that my funds were then sent to Garantex, which was sanctioned. After that, I receive an email saying that they did not ask for any documents, but the surveillance department performs my check and it will take up to 30 days. Over the course of a month, I wrote and asked how my case was going and duplicated previously sent documents. In response, I only received the same message, "that we cannot tell you the exact timing of the check. Expect it" Yesterday was exactly one month since my funds were blocked. I wrote a letter to the compliance department, to which I received a reply that at the beginning of the 30-day review it was preliminary and they have the right to change the review dates and cannot give exact dates due to confidentiality. It was my last drop of patience. I am extremely unhappy that Bybit is just holding my funds and not allowing me to withdraw them. I couldn't sit still and searched the Internet for someone who had a similar problem. And guys, I found about 50 people who have also had their accounts blocked since March and are withholding funds and are not allowed to withdraw. All these users are registered with Russian passports. In other words, Bybit started simply blocking accounts from Russia and unlawfully withholding their funds. Without naming any deadlines! We've gathered a community of guys with a similar problem.
